Transitional 4 BHK penthouse in Wakad, Pune

About this design

This transitional 4 BHK penthouse was designed for retired parents moving closer to their children at Cardamom Court, Wakad, Pune. The brief asked for low-maintenance finishes that age well, so the team used laminate on plywood, keeping PU and veneer for a few feature panels.

The palette is warm grey, navy and brass, with shaker shutters and clean modern lines. Main materials: shaker shutters, quartz, linen upholstery and antique brass. In Pune, windows were kept clear for cross-ventilation so the home needs little air conditioning.

Work on site took about 12 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹20 lakh for 2,220 sq ft of carpet area, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
