Modern U-shaped kitchen in Kadri, Mangaluru

About this design

This modern U-shaped kitchen was designed for retired parents moving closer to their children at Quartz Court, Kadri, Mangaluru. The brief asked for a breakfast counter for quick meals, so the team extended the counter into a two-seat breakfast ledge.

The palette is warm white, greige and walnut, with handle-less shutters and slim profile lights. Main materials: matte laminate, quartz, black metal trims and fluted glass. In Mangaluru, BWP plywood, sealed board edges and stainless hardware stand up to the humid, salty air.

Work on site took about 5 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹2.9 lakh for a 136 sq ft room, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
