Minimalist master bedroom with a walk-through wardrobe in Marathahalli, Bengaluru

About this design

This minimalist master bedroom was designed for a family with an elderly parent at Peacock Vista, Marathahalli, Bengaluru. The brief asked for a corner to work late without disturbing anyone, so the team added a compact desk with its own task light.

The palette is white, stone and light oak, with hidden storage and very few loose pieces. Main materials: white laminate, microcement, oak veneer and frosted glass. In Bengaluru, windows were kept clear for cross-ventilation so the home needs little air conditioning.

Work on site took about 5 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹6.6 lakh for a 218 sq ft room, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
