Contemporary home office with a library wall in Hanamkonda, Warangal

About this design

This contemporary home office was designed for a young professional living alone at Nightingale Towers, Hanamkonda, Warangal. The brief asked for a quiet space for video calls, so the team added acoustic panels and a solid-core door.

The palette is soft taupe, teal and brass, with curved edges and layered lighting. Main materials: PU-finish shutters, engineered wood, brushed brass and textured paint. In Warangal, light, heat-reflecting colours, blackout curtains and units kept off hot west walls help through the summer.

Work on site took about 2 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹5.6 lakh for a 165 sq ft room, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
