Scandinavian walk-in wardrobe with an island in Singjamei, Imphal

About this design

This Scandinavian walk-in wardrobe was designed for a couple returning from abroad at Singjamei, Imphal. The brief asked for space for a growing collection of clothes, so the team planned full-height units with a loft and pull-out accessories.

The palette is white, powder blue and mustard, with light woods, soft textiles and big clear windows. Main materials: birch-look laminate, wool, white oak flooring and powder-coated steel. In Imphal, warm wood finishes, insulated wall panels and thick rugs keep the rooms comfortable in cold months.

Work on site took about 2 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹2 lakh for a 66 sq ft room, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
