Biophilic 3 BHK apartment renovation in Chanmari, Aizawl

About this design

This biophilic 3 BHK apartment renovation was designed for a joint family of six at Pinecone Court, Chanmari, Aizawl. The brief asked for space for guests without a dedicated guest room, so the team designed a sofa-cum-bed corner in the study.

The palette is leaf green, sand and wood, with indoor plants, natural light and natural materials. Main materials: planter walls, natural stone, jute and solid wood. In Aizawl, warm wood finishes, insulated wall panels and thick rugs keep the rooms comfortable in cold months.

Work on site took about 12 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹15 lakh for 1,307 sq ft of carpet area, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
