About this design

This contemporary master bedroom was designed for a doctor couple with long shifts at Driftwood Enclave, Christian Basti, Guwahati. The brief asked for a corner to work late without disturbing anyone, so the team added a compact desk with its own task light.

The palette is soft taupe, teal and brass, with curved edges and layered lighting. Main materials: PU-finish shutters, engineered wood, brushed brass and textured paint. In Guwahati, windows were kept clear for cross-ventilation so the home needs little air conditioning.

Work on site took about 5 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹3 lakh for a 194 sq ft room, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
