Scandinavian master bedroom with a study corner in MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam

About this design

This Scandinavian master bedroom was designed for a couple with a toddler and a dog at Vetiver Heights, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam. The brief asked for more wardrobe space, so the team fitted a sliding wardrobe that needs no clearance in front.

The palette is white, powder blue and mustard, with light woods, soft textiles and big clear windows. Main materials: birch-look laminate, wool, white oak flooring and powder-coated steel. In Visakhapatnam, BWP plywood, sealed board edges and stainless hardware stand up to the humid, salty air.

Work on site took about 3 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹1.6 lakh for a 182 sq ft room, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
