Mediterranean office for a 73-seat team in Borivali West, Mumbai

About this design

This Mediterranean office was designed for a consulting company at Palm Crest Business Park, Floor 11, Borivali West, Mumbai. The brief asked for a reception that reflects the brand, so the team designed a brand wall and a compact reception desk.

The palette is whitewash, sea blue and terracotta, with arches, lime-washed walls and terracotta floors. Main materials: lime wash, terracotta tiles, arched niches and rattan. In Mumbai, BWP plywood, sealed board edges and stainless hardware stand up to the humid, salty air.

Work on site took about 14 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹1.71 crore for about 5,175 sq ft, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
