About this design

This Mediterranean office was designed for a finance company at Goldcrest Business Park, Floor 5, Golf Course Road, Gurugram. The brief asked for quiet rooms for calls, so the team added glass cabins and two phone booths.

The palette is whitewash, sea blue and terracotta, with arches, lime-washed walls and terracotta floors. Main materials: lime wash, terracotta tiles, arched niches and rattan. In Gurugram, light, heat-reflecting colours, blackout curtains and units kept off hot west walls help through the summer.

Work on site took about 10 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹1.90 crore for about 6,168 sq ft, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
