Luxury kids room for two siblings in Goregaon East, Mumbai

About this design

This luxury kids room for two siblings was designed for a young professional living alone at Palm Crest Habitat, Goregaon East, Mumbai. The brief asked for space for two children, so the team fitted a bunk bed and split the wardrobe in two.

The palette is deep green, champagne gold and cream, with stone, veneer and designer lighting throughout. Main materials: Italian marble, veneer panelling, leather and smoked glass. In Mumbai, BWP plywood, sealed board edges and stainless hardware stand up to the humid, salty air.

Work on site took about 4 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹5.9 lakh for a 185 sq ft room, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
