About this design

This Scandinavian L-shaped kitchen was designed for a first-time home buyer at Ashoka Enclave, Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad. The brief asked for a breakfast counter for quick meals, so the team extended the counter into a two-seat breakfast ledge.

The palette is white, powder blue and mustard, with light woods, soft textiles and big clear windows. Main materials: birch-look laminate, wool, white oak flooring and powder-coated steel. In Ghaziabad, light, heat-reflecting colours, blackout curtains and units kept off hot west walls help through the summer.

Work on site took about 4 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹3.3 lakh for a 146 sq ft room, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
