About this design

This contemporary bathroom was designed for a young professional living alone at Zinnia Habitat, Junglighat, Port Blair. The brief asked for a bathroom that stays dry and easy to clean, so the team split the wet and dry zones with a glass partition.

The palette is soft taupe, teal and brass, with curved edges and layered lighting. Main materials: PU-finish shutters, engineered wood, brushed brass and textured paint. In Port Blair, BWP plywood, sealed board edges and stainless hardware stand up to the humid, salty air.

Work on site took about 3 weeks after the design was signed off, and the approximate cost was ₹4 lakh for a 61 sq ft room, including GST. Treat it as a reference: brands, site conditions and the city change the final price.
